August get together/BBQ - Aug. 19 at 2 p.m.

The annual RMFF bbq (delayed by a month) shall be held on August 19 at 2 p.m. at Faversham Park at 6109 W 73rd Ave, Westminster, CO 80003. Just West of the intersection of 73rd and Depew, West of Tepper Fields.

We have reserved the covered pavilion that is close to/on the pond. There are 5 tables, 2 outlets, 2 grills, a bar for placing food, and a pond with a pier, if you want to try and catch that bigger fish...

There is plenty of parking and 2 porta potties. Perhaps someone(s) can bring hand sanitizer?

DieWompRatDie and FanForced are the semi-hosts since the park is close to them. They will provide eating supplies like plates, plastic ware, napkins, cups, water, and charcoal for grilling. They will also bring hot dogs, buns, ketchup, and mustard to get the food rolling.

It's a potluck, so please post what you plan to bring, so we have enough entrees, sides, desserts, and drinks.

There is a possibility I may miss this one. I had to take my son into the ER on the 28th of last month. He is still there recovering from surgery, which has been super rough with some complications. Good vibes that he might get to come home this week and I can bake and see you all on Saturday!

I am going to miss this one. With my dad's death last weekend, I've decided to go see my sister and have some family time -- and she's in the path of the totality of the eclipse, too.
