Also, looks like she has a Republic default set, when you put imperial cloth on her it turns into the Republic version, hope they fix it.

 

No.. I mean it got 200.000 people signed on, and still Lucasfilm hasn't bothered to do anything about it. Seems pretty pointless.

 

200,000 is less then 5 percent of what that show would need for a pilot episode viewership.

 

Mind you, it's a sign of interest too.

 

If they had that number in Canada, it could then be enough.

 

Not enough to matter, honestly. You need 4-5 million viewers at the start, which will probably drop to 1.5 million. 200k is insignificant.

 

The big thing I see is, "Why would Disney let Netflix produce it instead of themselves?"

 

Mind you, there's no way they wouldn't get 4-5 million viewers without the petition.

Because Star Wars.

 

Eh, maybe. Those are the numbers from TCW, which had the advantage of a theatrical lead in and film characters.

 

Petitions would need millions of signings for them to even take a look at it. We may get one anyway but we will have to wait until TLJ comes out to see how many easter eggs they give us about The Old Republic. That will probably give us a better hint over how likely a Old Republic tv show might be. I personally think we are going to get a ST era show before we get a Old Republic show anyways.

I think the Old Republic era is largely going to be left to the books and comics.

 

I would like more video games. That is what brought the Old Republic into the almost mainstream.

Made some changes to my SH again, made the main room purely Sith themed and brought the Kephess statue to pair with TFB.

Haven't played this game much since late 2014 post-Revan expansion/skill tree removal, but it will be an abstract feeling when they eventually shut this down. The pvp was fun even though there weren't that many maps. Also a pretty underrated gateway to the EU. I had my IA sniper equipped with some nice tight-fitting, grey two tone trousers, with Xoxaan's robes dyed black, as well as Visas Marr's sash (also dyed black, to create a seamless look) and I didn't even know who Xoxaan was back then, other than that she was pioneering the current fashion trends from her tomb, on my server at the time. Many credits were spent swapping out augments for new outfits, playing space barbies while waiting for pvp queues to pop. Or decorating my instanced Dromund Kaas crib; identical to the one anyone can buy for a measly couple of thousand credits, except different and cooler and more tasteful. :^)

I have to confess that the kotfe stuffed looked pretty lame to me for some reason, but I'll want to run through it all eventually, including whatever storylines they come up with until an end starts to loom near. I hope they do get a chance to wrap it up in a clean way.

 

Will be interesting how much longer it lasts. How long does the contract for the game last for? Generally these MMO's sign ten year contracts don't they?
