I'm mostly past needing physical copies of TV shows but if I were to buy Rebels I'd definitely get the box set.

 

The next time we will probably get info on Season 4 will be September 2 at the Canada expo.

I predict the next series after this will be STAR WARS: RESISTANCE with Ezra as the old Jedi Master.

 

Depends if Ezra does decide in S4 he'll be a Jedi or not.

 

I'm hoping so. It would otherwise be a really sad waste of his character. I also will enjoy drinking the tears of those who say it would contradict Return of the Jedi.

 

Ezra's path may lead him back to his homeworld where he'll be its protector, Force trained but not considered a Jedi.
Or he could join Sabine and her clan in defending Krownest and Mandalore for the Empire, keeping him from the Rebel Alliance for years.
Serving in the Alliance, not as a Jedi, and serves with Luke and gives him some basic training.
Or Vader could kill him and it's all for nought.

 

Maybe, though I still believe he's likely the background character of any hypothetical RESISTANCE story.

 

I'd be pretty sad if Ezra singlehandedly keeps all the Mandalorian characters away from the Alliance too just due to his sheer toxic, canon-defying presence.

 

But it could explain the absence of the Mandalorians atm.

 

Don't see Hera either, doesn't mean she or Sabine gave up on the cause.

Besides, who knows, if they decide to clean up ROTJ properly and fix the space battle of the known errors, maybe they'll insert Ghost in there with some voice over indicating Hera and others are aboard.

Very true. Those two lied and deceived Luke many times. Whose to say they didn't do it again with Yoda's final words.

 

It does kinda bug me that they unceremoniously off a bunch of interesting villains that would be great antagonists in future stories because "must mesh with OT" (Inqusitors, Saxon (not really for the same logic but unceremoniously dumped after two episodes), Maul, presumably Thrawn). But Ezra and Ashoka are probably going to stick around forever

 

Ezra has run into Leia, C3PO, R2-D2, Lando, Rex, Dodonna and Obi-Wan. If he's alive, if he's in any shape or form moving towards becoming the Jedi Master you propose, Luke would know. All those people have to think or know he's dead.

 

Why...wouldn't Luke know?

I'm entirely comfortable with them knowing each other at Hoth.

Just a comic scene like:

Leia: "Have you considered talking with Master Kanan and Ezra?"

Luke: "I tried to but every time I try to get in touch with them, they're off doing something else."

Leia: "We're a bit busy ourselves."

Luke: "Yeah."

 

"When gone am I, last of the Jedi, will you be."

 

And yet we broke it all the time in Legends.

 

Which I hated and if we're going to do a reboot, which we are, should be avoided.

Especially since Yoda has telepathically communicated with Ezra and Kanan.
