Arena Streak for Colors Part IV: Stranger Colors

The time has come for another regeneration of this game, so without further adieu...




Rules & such:



Playing this game is simple, especially if you're very knowledgeable about sports. There are no sign-ups, thus you can play when you want, for as long as you want! Of course, I'd prefer if you stick around to be a full-time player... it's more fun that way.



Mostly on Sundays, but occasionally on Mondays & sometimes on Saturdays, athletic & random things ("weird", non-sports stuff) events will be posted for the coming week. Simply pick up to one selection per day to enter. The idea is to build as long a streak of correct picks as possible. You don't need to make a pick every day, and not picking will not count against you. Ties occur when the event/pick in question (ie: a football match, and over/under pick that lands on the exact number in question) ends in a tie. Ties don't end or extend a streak. If you want to make a pick that's not on the official list, please make the request in the thread; 99.5% of the team, I approve of "unofficial" picks. Additionally, many Friday's will be "Free Fallin'" Fridays, where you're allowed to make your own picks.




How do & what do you win? The options...




"The Old Familiar"... Make a single pick per day- get 9 in-a-row correct, and win 48-hours worth of colors! After the 9-in-a-row, you can win an additional 24-hours-ish of colors after every 3-days to which your streak continues (ie: 72-hours-ish of colors after 12 in-a-row, 96 hours-ish after 15 in-a-row, and so forth...). Your colors do not begin until your streak has ended.




"The Old Familiar: Part II"... If you end the month as the user with the most "wins" (ie: total correct picks for the month), you win 48-hours-ish worth of colors.

THE Credits Bonanza




An additional way to earn colors, one that doesn't effect the standings of the normal game; played as an addition to that. Pick any 3 picks on a given day, with each pick worth 10-credits if correct; 0 credits if you get it wrong. 90-credits gets you colors! Also, you can have up to a multiplier of 3 for each pick, so in theory you can get colors with 3-correct picks if you use a max-3 multiplier on each pick.


All that matters is racking up credits to 90, so it doesn't matter if all 3-picks are correct... it's an issue of how many credits you choose for each pick. So say out of the 3-picks you have, 2 are right, and 1 is wrong, you'd earn a total of 20, etc.




Credits roll over each time you use the Bonanza option, even if you only use it once or twice each week. Once hitting 90, you'll win 24-hours-ish of colors. After that, you continue on until reaching 180, where an additional 24-hours ish of colors are rewarded, etc.
