I'm avoiding all videos and trailers for Episode VIII.

The second teaser was giving too much away, and I didn't even let it complete.

More interested in Thor: Ragnarok to be honest.

 

I said ‘meet’ not own; I don’t know what their diet is like, what needs they have or how friendly they are.

I doubt they breed fast since they are based off of puffins and look like a penguin mixed with puffin.

A Tribble I wouldn’t mind since you just make sure you don’t let it near food.

Had a bowl filled with Tribbles at my Wedding Reception with a reminder not to feed them; it was a hit.

What a morning!

 

How I've been in the lead up to TLJ is not typical of me prior to the release of movies I want to see. Usually when there's a Trek or Wars movie about to come out, I'm all like, "Ooh! Spoilers! Spoilers! Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!"
But with TLJ, in a way I've been almost afraid of the spoilers. I haven't been avoiding them like the plague or anything, but I haven't really gone looking for them either. I'm guessing it might be because I'm not really sure what to expect from this new trilogy, so maybe I want to keep my expectations minimal? Or something like that. I don't really know.

 

BBC News website mentioned the Porg.

So they were in the trailers, were they? I had assumed they were to do with Rebels or Rogues, or whatever the CGI series is called.

 

Yes, there was a Porg in the trailer. And it was SO CUTE!!!

 

BB-8 is afraid he will be overshadowed by the cuteness of the Porg! Awww. That is so sad! He needs a hug.

Well I actually find BB-8 much more adorbale than the Porg. Their complely black eyes creep me out.

Also is Chewie now completly CGI? He looks different.

 

Why would the thread close after 400 pages?

 

Under the old boards (IGN ran), the limit to the number of posts a thread could have was 10, 000. Now we CAN have more, but things can get glitchy if the number gets up there. So, now, every time a social thread reaches that number, Mav or I lock it and create a new one. It takes about 2 years for a thread to reach that number, so it isn't like we do it often. But it gives us a chance to re-evaluate the thread rules and just keeps the social thread fresh.
