OOC Out of Bounds (The ELL OOC Thread)

It's been such a busy week that I forgot that I am going to be unable to do scores tomorrow morning due to a very important event I'm attending.

So you know what that means...

 

After tonight's game, the day the Endorian chickens come home to roost for the Miners will be a long and painful one...

 

Here I shamelessly hire a Miners coach to hopefully lead me to victory over them, and it totally backfires on me. Eek.

 

And here I got rid of a Miners coach anticipating the inevitable slump of the Miners and it backfires on me.

 

I guess we were both fooled. How dare the generator be so callous?

 

To everyone who was disappointed that Alana isn't coaching the Miners, I finally learned why. She's busy taking up this new sport. Let's call it...sinnet. Looks like she's a real barrier breaker in it too. Just might work out for her.

 

Runjedirun are the Starkillers going to try to swing a big trade now?

 

Who are the Miners offering?

 

It's a reference to the Carmelo Anthony trade from yesterday.

Runjedirun So Andre is addicted to pain pills now? Interesting road to take. I wonder how that is going to end?

 

I don't really know how it will end, but I do know what direction I am going in next week.

Well gee, it seems I need to sign one of my players to a big extension now too.

 

Guess Jon Draper was the secret to their recent string of successes. Miners knew what they were doing in bringing him in.

 

At my current job, I walk by a pool on my way from my office to where I park. Usually there is a water polo team practicing or playing a game when I go by. Is it terrible that I happened to watch one of the drills and noticed how the water polo players shoot the ball and thought, "I need to integrate that move into a limmie post"?

 

Certainly do that option instead of the 'actually going and trying the real thing' option (though if you did and posted it online, I think we all would watch). Water polo is a high-contact sport.

 

Very much so! I'm pretty sure I would be drowned in the first couple of minutes. Though, I'm sure in those two minutes all the other players would be very impressed by my dog paddle.

More to the point--I can't help but wonder galactic-vagabond422 if Serica learned how to tackle Cutty from the Horst Penn School of Hug-Tackling. She might have a career as a defender if things don't work out at forward.

 

Since I'm pretty busy these days, I have elected to skip most of the All-Star process that I do every season. You can include any results I do post in your posts if you wish.

Also, Trieste, I love that post. I love how deep it is, how it goes so far into her mind that I feel like I'm trespassing just reading it. The realization she comes to is just so perfect, that she has a purpose as a backup. Maybe she can now accept her role and use it to her advantage.
