What I'd really like is for them to do the complete talk show cycle. The morning shows, then the late shows. Tell their side of the story, but first they'll need an agent, and need one quickly, to nab a good book deal. I know a very good book agent in New York if they are interested. This may not be an Amanda Knox level story of unlawful incarceration, but there's still gold in them thar hills.

They could be a new season of Serial.
