I want to see the Obi-Wan Kenobi movie star both Ewan McGregor and Joel Edgerton.

 

The only way that would work is if it was the first Star Wars movie with no action in it whatsoever, which would never happen. It's the same reason we shouldn't have a Yoda on Dagobah movie.

Even if we don't get another Anthology for a while, we still have Solo, IX and a brand new Rian trilogy coming. There's not going to be a shortage of anticipation. But yeah, I'm still hoping for more films. Obi-Wan especially.

It ends with Obi Wan burning Lars and Beru to death and blaming the Stormtroopers.
You'll never watch New Hope the same way again .

My enthusiasm for the Rian Johnson written and directed trilogy took a big hit after TLJ.

I have no clue what to expect from IX

I am lukewarm on Solo. Eager for the Obi-Wan film.

Would love to see an Old Republic trilogy.

My dream is a Darth Vader trilogy with him as an enforcer for the Empire, hunting down Jedi knights, and plotting to overthrow Palpatine (seeing him get close and missing by a thread)

 

I'd like Disney to make different styles or genres of anthology standalone movies.

Han Solo movie done as a heist movie.
Bobba Fett movie done as some Hitchcock movie.
Obi-Wan movie done as a Sergio Leone Western.
Palpatine or Plagueis movie done as black and white Film Noir.
Jabba the Hutt's rise to crimelord power movie done as a Tarantino action/thriller.
A Christmas holiday special sequel movie done as a musical, Snoke as the grinch of course.
A Stormtrooper Academy movie done as a comedy.

And leave the formulated SW-style to the main trilogy movies.

Man, this thread should be a poll! I see the same ideas alot. I'm sure mine were buried on some of the pages I didn't read, too....

Thrawn. Because, of course. Chiss lifespans aren't canon yet, I believe. They could do an updated take on the Thrawn trilogy set after Episode IX. Or something different entirely; him collecting the First Order together in the first place. Hell, Joruus C'Baoth's backstory would fit Snoke decently; put these two together and you'd have at the very least one decent movie, and it could answer alot of people's concerns about his character.

A Sith movie would be interesting. Palpatine and Plagieus, Maul and Palpatine, Bane and - whoever. Its something that hasn't really been seen.
