It would be interesting if the tv show takes place in the same time period as the new trilogy.

Did they finally find a way to do Star Wars Underworld? They had at last 50 episodes "finished, haven't, they?

 

So do you think it will be Filoni that does this and a live action show is actually what they have been working on all this time?

In fact, let it be about Jessika Pava. Jessica Henwick is doing great in the MCU Netflix stuff and she mentioned her contract was for three SW films but she isn't in TLJ, so give her a show please. Let's see what Jess was doing during TLJ, maybe leading a group of elite Resistance pilots against the FO.

 

Maybe put Pava with Rogue Squadron? Agents of the New Republic? Maybe if they give him a starring role they can get Denis Lawson back.

Not keen on every franchise tv show hiding behind their own subscription service now. Marvel on Netflix, Star Trek: Discovery on CBS, and now Star Wars with Disney...

 

.....I'm going to be broke before all this is over.

 

As Disney owns Marvel, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Marvel stuff gets moved over to their streaming service.

Yeah ... great news for the franchise, but irksome for those of us on budgets.

I get it from a capitalism standpoint, but it's not like broadcast TV is dead. Entirely, anyway ...

I bet this will be in some aspect Underworld with some canceled Boba Fett film thrown in

 

Interesting. Some of the last official news we heard about Underworld was Lucas saying "Yeah, I need a couple more years to revolutionize things so that we can produce weekly Star Wars films on a TV budget." I wonder if they're going to make the scope bit less ambitious, or if recent shows like Game of Thrones have already made enough leaps in that respect that Disney feels like the time is right.

I've said it before, and I'll say it until it happens: Dennis Lawson as Wedge Antilles, rallying what's left of the Republic fleet and supervising the career of the new Rogue Leader, Renee-Elise Goldsbury. It is all that I want in this world.

 

Star Wars: Rogue Squadron--one season per IU year starting post-Yavin, overtly use RO as the inspiration for the squadron, maybe involve Draven or some stray partisans. Season three ends at Hoth, Four at Endor, Five at Jakku.

Oh my god. Did you specifically go into my head to find my perfect SW show?

 

The fee for the streaming service is only going to be about ten dollars a month so it isn't going to be that bad. They aren't going to charge as much for it as some of the other services do because there isn't going to be as much to watch.
