All the ISD's and MC80's are identical. As others have stated, as much as we Fleet Junkies love seeing more ships, it is expensive to render and design multiple unique models. Hence why all MC80's are Liberty-types and all ISD's are Mark II's.

Which doesn't bug me one bit. It's gorgeous all the same! [face_love]

There is almost no reason for any of these ships to ever be inside the atmosphere. Would everyone please stop doing this.

Yeah but the one reason is that it looks cool and frankly that's good enough for a lot of us

Garrick Versio's command ship has Imperial I-class turbolaser turrets and ion cannons (which fire turbolaser blasts in the game) in the Battle of Jakku. That ship also has a ISDII style bridge module, so I'd guess it's some sort of refit.

Which is funny considering we see ISDII octuple turbolasers mounted on ISDI ships in Rebels. It's almost like KDY can't decide which turret arrangement to go with - or perhaps they can be easily swapped out at a shipyard.

Thrawn is one of the few Imperial commanders you can count on to deploy support ships.

New Last Jedi Trailer showed Holograms from the Raddus's Bridge of The Supremacy and Multiple Resurgent classes, I counted 5.

True, but they already had a lot of other models they could have put into the game. Including TIE Defenders from the first game (there's this image of a crashed TIE/D from FFG), or imperial Raiders and light cruisers.

Are you sure there are turbolasers and ion cannons? They all look the same to me, like turbolaser turrets.

Also the Dauntless at the Battle of Fondor was armed with the proper octuple turrets.

The first three have the same design as the dual heavy turbolaser batteries on the Imperial I-class. The last one has the rounded edges of the dual ion cannon turret that's supposed to be on an Imperial I-class... except its firing green turbolaser bolts in the game.

FOV lensing effects really make it hard to get a grasp on just how big those guns are... and it doesn't help that they rotate pretty quick for weapons the size of a small football field. Actually... it makes me wonder if there's some scaling tricks going on with the level design.

I've just checked again and you're right, they are different. Although I think I've noticed why I thought they were the same and I really hope I'm wrong with my assumption, but in the scene where they are shooting down the X-wing it does seem like they are using only the ion cannon model... :(

To me it looks like the model is a lot smaller than it should be, but maybe that's just the way the mission is presented.

Watching the MC80 Restoration unleash a barrage of turbolaser fire to destroy the ISD Torment may be one of the most gorgeous things I've ever seem. :-B[face_love]

By the way, one of the TLJ TV spots shows Liea in front of a hologram depicting the Supremacy and her escorts:

Wait... funny thought. Remember in the old EU how the Super-class Star Destroyer was basically a way to fund the Executor-class Star Dreadnought without causing a big fight in the Imperial Senate over procurement? What if the First Order pulled the same thing with the Mega-class Star Destroyer being a cover to slip past the Galactic Concordance's restrictions on Imperial shipbuilding.

I'm still advocating the proper class name be: Supremacy-class Super Dreadnought.

Anyone remember the Qaz-class star destroyer? Not much more than a name, but I tried modelling what I thought it should look like. I'm not at all a good 3D modeller so bear with me. Anyway, I envisioned a large multi-purpose battlecruiser that ultimately possessed 8 heavy turbolasers, four shield domes and two gravity well projectors. Thoughts?

So this panel from the new Crait comic appears to show not only the inside of a GR75 transport, but possibly a variant with a more obvious bridge on the prow.

You know for all my criticisms on nuBF2's storyline, I'm actually a huge fan of the NR-refit Corvus. I love how since they don't have much access to Imperial production facilities, with many being destroyed and all, they have to refit it to work with what they have, and also have given it extra armor by the looks of it. Which fits, since the original Raider-class was anti-starfighter geared, while I imagine the Corvus post-NR refit is more of a jack of all trades since it needs to answer to everything. I'm also a sucker for vehicles that get modded along to fit the environment they're in with whatever's available. Like the DeLorean in Part 3 having to use 50s tires and vacuum tubes because the 80s parts aren't available. Or Max's interceptor turning from a Police pursuit car to a battle-hardened mobile home.

Isn't the bridge rather obviously the conning tower in the back? I mean, the comic makes it clear that Luke is in that YV-666-looking box in the front, but...why?

Thanks to the Corvus, we have our first official instance of an Imperial ship dolled up in Republic Red trim. It's as close as we're likely to get to the Nebula-class in canon, and so I must love it.

It's probably just because I find the obviously-exposed bridges to be a bit silly, but I always thought the "conning tower" was some kind of communications or sensor apparatus.

Though looking at it more closely, it's probably a bridge.

I always thought it was a bridge, and it's used as such in Rebels, but whenever you actually look at the prop to scale, it just ain't possible to fit a human being in that thing unless we treat the scale as figurative cinematic conceit and not literal engineering schematics.

Lol no, but that would be funny.

The Falcon could be in the foreground on both those panels, the GR75 is much bigger than it appears here. The bridge is the tower at the rear of the ship. The bit at the front of the ship actually looks to me like a colouring mistake. The colourist thought a star and patch of space was meant to be a window and the bridge of the ship. Look carefully at it, the angle of the ship compared to that front section, its not right, it has no depth. Also its not in the second external picture, and from that angle I think you would see it if it was meant to be there.

So...U-Wings seem to be popping up everywhere...BFII, Rebels, etc...are they possibly not as rare as the R1 visual guide led us to believe??

Aside from the U-wing Ryder had (which seems to actually maybe be an older ship with a similar model which is a bit cheap but I will give it to em) all of them make sense. The NR quickly commissioned ton of slightly modded U-wings many of which where used to storm Jakku. They where bit bigger, having a refresher, and are likely the type we see in BFII

I think multiple people on here called the visual guide as making a mistake with that in the first place (ditto the TIE striker).
