Does this mean we are going to get a 70 year old Aphra in the ST fixing her eye candy some coffee?

 

I'd love for her to meet a young man named Lor San Tekka...

 

Just imagine if Luke has an offhand remark about a having a relationship with a “dangerous archaeologist” in his youth. I would flip in my seat.

 

Love the series, and Aphra is just getting so much better. I hope they do more with her, and I hope Rur gets more stuff in upcoming comics. I think Aphra could last a good while, I like she hunts stuff. I am not as big of a fan of her doing so much with empire and rebels though, hopefully it will go back to her hunting stuff later in the series.

Also kudos for drawing aliens with skin/hair diversity so they don't all look exactly like the only known example(s) from a film.

 

Given the way the world seems to break around Aphra wherever she goes I increasingly want to see Jar-Jar thrown into the mix.

Seriously. I'm not crazy for thinking that has potential, right?

 

Huh. That could actually be really neat. Aphra could be exploring some Gungan ruins on Naboo and run into him.

 

Naturally I hope for more Aphra and Vader. It's like my favorite or something.

Okay so like, can everyone just join me in saying, OH MY GOD. XD

I literally cackled out loud when I read this preview.

I mean,

after the end of last issue you'd think Tolvan would pretty much despise Aphra. But instead she's apparently been having sex dreams about her. XD

I am so glad we already know she's in more issues because if they actually executed her I think my heart would stop along with hers.

That is honestly like the greatest thing I could ever of hoped for

 

I haven't been following Aphra's storyline since she exited the Vader comic series. But has Vader ever found out that he failed to kill her and that she's still alive? She's one loose end he doesn't want running around the Galaxy.

 

He knows. Doesn't care.

At the end of the last story line he senses her in one of the ships escaping the space station and says "I sense a presence I haven't felt in a long time. An irritating presence." lol

I´m just liking so much this new story arc. Didn´t care that much about the others, but now Aphra with a possibility of a very interesting romantic relationship (how much Tolvan grew as a character in just 1 issue!), blackmailed into doing a lot of bad stuff by Triple 0, and actually seeing the level of depravity of that droid´s sadism unleashed, there is much to wait for in the next issues...

Besides, the art looks great to me!

 

Thanks. My interest in the Aphra comics went from minimal to zero.

 

Honestly, I've been annoyed with Vader's "kill everything" portrayal lately.

It's making him look less like a genius chessmaster than a brute.

 

He's Darth Vader. What do you expect? Sidious is the real chessmaster. Vader is the ultimate warrior. He can think and plan when necessary but his preferred action is to simply cut a problem in half.
