Crusade is also a term associated with Judeo-Christianity. I find it a little jarring when Obi-wan talks to Luke about an idealistic crusade.

There isn't a single bad Star Wars movie, whether by Kathleen Kennedy or by George Lucas.

People probably thought you were leaving because you felt Rian Johnson was raping your childhood.

    • Anakin vs. Ventress in the 2003 CW series is the best saber duel in any of the animated shows.
    • Dooku is the most boring main villain in the films, which is a shame considering its Christopher Lee. Wish he was more than just a lame version of Palpatine.
    • Rogue One is "fine" in my opinion. Nothing more, nothing less.
    • I never got the hype behind Snoke. Even before TLJ, I thought he was rather boring and I was fine with seeing him offed.
    • An Obi-Wan movie is no more needed than a Han Solo movie.

Yoda is the most attractive character in the Star Wars universe.

The sound and music design in Revenge Of the Sith is the most masterful in the saga.

So many moments in the film where I’m blown away by the small details. The conversation after Anakin kills Dooku with Palpatine is pretty bloody genius. The ominous music that envelopes Anakin after his decision subtly adds to the scene, including the explosions mixed in with the Tuskens screaming was perfect.

Or the giant volcano blast after Anakin and Obi-Wan clash swords. God this movie is extremely emotional so every front possible.

I don’t think the Saga has had anything close to the level of quality like this.

The Clone Wars tv show is, overall, more interesting and entertaining than the movies.

Don't know if this is an unpopular opinion, but the only good scenes in TLJ were the Reylo ones.

Up until The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi came out, Revenge of the Sith was the worst Star Wars film.

Star Wars was made for children. It's actually more of a fact, but it seems to be unpopular.

    1. I love the prequels and feel that they are more detailed and immersive than the OT (not saying I don't love the OT, of course I do, everyone does).
    2. I look up to George Lucas and believe in his narrative visions.
    3. I think that the movies Disney is making are not really Star Wars movies, but really just money making schemes with Star Wars stickers on them.
    4. I don't get the problems people have with Jake Lloyd.
    5. I think that TPM stands on its own as one of the most original and creative Star Wars movies. It is unlike any of the other movies in a good way. No other movie has existed in that world.
    6. Darth Vader yelling "Nooooo" at the end of RotS is powerful and heartbreaking and an amazing piece of cinema.
    7. Jango over Boba
    8. Prequel Yoda trumps OT Yoda and his lightsaber fights are awesome and enhance his character and the context/urgency of the prequels.
That's all I can think of right now... crucify me [face_peace] lol

I really dislike the way the droids in CW, suddenly have independent thoughts and dialog.

I actually enjoyed watching Ewoks - The Battle For Endor.

It's about as cheesy as it gets and the acting is pretty bad, I know. But I have a soft spot for goofy 80's movies, especially fantasy.

Not seen the CW series but 100% agree with the others.

-Didn't like Dooku at all, worst proper baddie of the saga (not counting Grievous)
-Snoke was second worst (again discounting Grievous), happy to see him slit up. Was a useful placeholder for KR but that's it and not interested in his backstory
-I put Rogue One behind TFA and TLJ and above the prequels. It was OK but nothing more.
-I'm not really interested in any of the character specific movies - that sort of thing is for the books. Much rather have a break and concentrate on the new trilogy

    Only because there aren't many
    1. Darth Vader (if we close our eyes and forget prequels ever existed)
    2. Palpatine
    3. Kylo Ren
    4. Darth Maul (although don't really get the hype)

Not much left after that. Dooku and Grievous were terrible. Most of the others are side characters. Snoke may get top 5 by default.

Star Wars fans are kind, collaborate people who are open to other points of view and strive to find common ground when their opinions differ.

The less you see a lightsaber - The better! It needs to come out once or twice a film...and that's it!

Return of the Jedi is the best OT movie.
