As I said I was caught completely off guard and missed a lot of the scene from bouncing and squealing (quietly) I haven't been able to see it again.(health) I hope to be able to see it again but doubt it will still be in the theater. I wish it had leaked out he was in it. I would have gotten more out of the scene.

 

Yeah, I missed a lot of the scene on my first viewing as well--for the same reason (my levels of Yoda-excitement were too high).

 

I lost my mind too. But I got to see it a couple more times and now I can probably accurately quote 90% of the scene.

So was it at one pointy green ear you began to squee? Or did it take the whole back of Yoda's head to send you to happy town?

 

Probably one pointed green ear because it was a blink of an eye thing. I was like the cats on the cartoons bouncing off the wallsss. Now fess up. What did he say?

 

Luke is going to burn the tree but senses a presence, turns and says, "Master Yoda." Then Yoda says, "Young Skywalker."

Love that he calls him "Young Skywalker."

 

Yeah I think I caught that on the first bounce. Then what??

I remember Yoda burned the tree. and insulting Luke for preserving the ancient books

 

Yeah, Luke couldn't bring himself to do it so Yoda does it for him then came my favorite part:

Yoda laughs.

Then he says, "Oh, Skywalker. Missed you have I."

 

They sat and discussed the olden days.

I still want to know why force ghost have to sit down.

 

did you know or even suspect in advance that he would be in it? or was a total surprise?

 

I always hope for good Yoda but I do not expect it. I had no foreknowledge or suspicion. It was a total surprise.

That blue light must be heavy.

 

I heard Frank Oz was seen going into the studio but you know how "Frank" rumors go.
He could have been lunching with Mickey.

At last an answer, the blue light is heavy.

 

This proves "Frank" rumors are good rumors.

 

There's a rumor that Frank beat up someone who said Yoda shaking with laughter wasn't totally awesome.

 

He should be removed from the Frank list.
The appropriate punishment was having to listen to Yoda's laughter on loop until SW9 comes out.

Failed I have - Revenge Of The Sith

 

Humm, maybe all that heavy blue glowing has caused a senior moment.

My computer broke during the night so I was locked out of the club, it was terrible. My in-house computer repair person was asleep and I just knew it would take days to repair. She sat down and I glanced away then heard the computer music. Daughters are wonderful.

Frank I didn't mean to stop your Yoda quote. I only remember vague outlines of the scenes. What did I miss?
