i am confused about your crush on single mom. is it just because you think she's hot, or is it because she's so honorable? since it's you i think we can safely assume the latter, but you realize this means you actually have a crush on a dangerously thin bald white lady from the future? the show is weird like that. also season 2 was good. anyone else caught up?

 

Yes. I caught up. It bothered me that pre-Traveler Marcy was "really" not mentally disabled at all. She was a "normal" person who was brain damaged by Traveler 1's experiments. I don't remember any hints of this in season 1, so it must be a retcon.

My favorite episode was the Groundhog Day one that killed like 10 Travelers before they got it right.

 

i have to admit i'm a sucker for the marcy and david stuff. i also thought that the twist with marcy was pretty unnecessary. that episode where she dived into her host's old memories would have been more touching without it. they could have still had her as a patient in that institution if they really felt they needed to tie her to traveler 1.

the ending of the season felt a little sherlock-y in that they left the characters in this seemingly impossible situation that will probably by necessity be resolved within the first ten minutes of season 3.

 

It would be great if the people close to them will know who they are for the rest of the series.

 

agreed, i really hope that's the way they go and they don't just try to cleverly undo it somehow.

 

I thought the last episode was just terribly contrived, which is sad because it's generally a good series.

 

Hi. I watched this. I liked it. I really like David, the big-hearted nerd.

 

David is the best. Way more honorable than Single Mom.

 

it's true. if he ever gets replaced by a traveler i will stop watching this show.

 

I'll write a strongly worded letter to Netflix and cancel my subscription.

 

No one delivers corny one-liners like David, and I love it.

What a catch that turned out to be!

 

David is ridiculously kind, generous and understanding. His only flaw seems to be that he's reluctant to accept things for himself e.g. he gave away literally all of his lottery winnings and his bike on top of that.
