I always assumed Jocasta was used to dealing with idiot younglings all day who expected the librarian to do everything before they even turned on the computer.

"I don't want that one. I'm specifically looking for Book X by Master Soandsuch. Where can i find it?"
"It... literally doesn't exist."

Regarding the timeline of this first arc, can we conclude that it ends no later than 10 days after Order 66, i. e. covers the first 10 days of Vader in the suit?

 

I consider her statement to be very ... unwise. Only an arrogant and short-sighted person would presume to know everything. It's supposed to suggest that the Jedi have lost their ways.

 

I agree this may be less about Unlimited Powah! and more about Vader trying to outthink his opponent. Like literally the last arc had him versus Jedi Neo and lots of mass murder and gaining strength so now Vader has to use his brains. If she's hidden a secret inside the Dewey Decimal System, he's screwed.

Seriously? I thought he was bloody awful. He makes it sound like a parody.

 

You know, when you consider the mystery that shrouds Darth Vader within the Empire, you have to realize that this couldn't have been Palpatine's original plan. He was banking on having a whole, undamaged Anakin Skywalker as his Sith Apprentice.

Darth Vader would have been the public face of the Empire. The young, handsome, dashing Hero with No Fear. The one Jedi Knight who was loyal to the Republic and saved the Chancellor from their treason. But after Mustafar and the catastrophic injuries that forever consigned Vader to a life within his fearsome black armour, Palpatine had to make the best of what he had.

So Vader became the Emperor's shadowy enforcer. Going wherever the Emperor needed a mailed fist or a personal touch of terror.

Eh, isn’t it already canon that Yoda had another one stored in his hut anyway?

There's a few options to retcon it:
A) That wasn't Yoda's lightsaber, Sidious kept it as a trophy
B) Yoda had more than one lightsaber
C) Yoda made a new lightsaber on Dagobah

In one of the Age of Rebellion issues it implies that Yoda could have built another lightsaber afterwards. In anycase he was on Dagobah for over twenty years and easily could have made another saber while there. It would be a bigger issue if that Darth Vader series took place more recently. But it was almost thirty years prior.
