Does that mean the Rex and R2 arc is 1-4?

We don't know the numbers for the Rex, Temple or Vong arcs. But the Mon Cala arc has the episode 7.19 in it. So logical deduction makes the arc 7.17-7.20.

 

I watched the two story reel arcs yesterday on starwars.com. While both were good, I was very intrigued by the Utapau arc, as I came to the realization that Lucas came up with the idea that the Death Star was powered by a kaibur crystal. We can go on to conclude that no other crystals of that size were found, so they instead found a way to combine smaller crystals into a larger one.

Anyway, it's good stuff. Next on my list is the comic and the novel.

 

I'm looking forward to seeing if we'll get any TCW references in the Han Solo movie or the visual dictionary. Since the Star Wars databank says that it was the Pykes that controlled the Spice Mines of Kessel and came up with the Kessel Run. And we'll most likely get the famous record breaking Kessel Run in the movie

 

You need to read Catalyst. Goes into depth about Kyber Crystals, what the Empire is doing with them, and that Utapau is not the only planet that houses Kyber under its surface.

I'm surprised I hadn't voted in this thread. I chose the two Ahsoka arcs (duh), Dark Disciple, and Son of Dathomir. If I got the chance to do it over again, I'd include the Siege of Mandalore arc as well.

Filoni said that they spared Barris because he had other plans for her, he also didn't wanna spoil/reveal who was behind the attempt to kill Yoda in the Sith Temple Arc.

Could it have been Barris?? She has inside knowledge of the Jedi Temple after all

 

They found other crystals of that size. You can see two of similar size in Star Wars Rebels, but both are destroyed by the rebellion.

 

I read the comic online over the weekend. It was OK. It lost something being in comic form. It felt weird having the Separatist heavies all together.

 

Ya until then I never thought Grevious would meet Sidious in person.

 

Has there been concept art or a name released of the old man from the Bounty Hunter arc? The one that Highsinger holds hostage in the Boba vs. Bane clip? I thought I saw it somewhere once but I'm having trouble locating it.

Hey guys, i need some help in figuring out if this setting in the middle is a locale from one of the finished episodes. I can't place it :/

 

If I squint in the lower right, it shows re-used assets from 2.22 Malastare Oil Refinery assets, from The Zillo Beast. Could imply this is set on Malastare, or some other kind of Oil Refinery.

The central location doesn't seem familiar. Maybe at a push it's the hangar from Fugitive, where Fives steals a pod, but it seems unlikely.

From the crane, the refinery equipment, and the crane, it seems like it would fit in with the Ahsoka underworld arc, with her investigating Pykes activities. Perhaps this place was related to her investigations. I can't think of any of the other arcs it could fit in.

 

I would've liked to see something similar to the ending of the 2003 Series with the Battle of Coruscant, especially considering that the new canon overrides what Genndy Tartakovsky showed regarding Palpatine's kidnapping. It should've been an epic climatic battle that pushed the limits of the animation engine, and the last shot should've been Anakin and Obi-wan's starfighters arriving in the thick of the battle out hyperspace from Mandalore, with an arrangement of the classic "Binary Sunset" Force musical motif.

 

Yeah the assets are from Malastare, and the citadel among others. I'm gonna check out the fives arc.

 

They really should publish the Siege of Mandalor, wookies/Yoda story arc and the bounty hunter story arcs as comics or novels. They did that with the Son of Dathomir and Quinlan Vos/Ventress stories, and it was great getting the material, even if not in the format intended. Too bad, those would have been amazing arcs to see played out.

 

I mean, they've already paid the scriptwriters/created the concept art/made the animatics. They can only gain money by releasing the arcs. Even if they release them for free, they've already lost the initial money.

 

Pretty much. They want to make money though.

 

They should publish a script book, with concept art then. That would cost them just the publishing costs.

 

Literally dgaf about anything on that list except Siege of Mandalore. I want my fan-service Mauldalorians finale.
