Bought the 4 movie collection of the Burton and Schumacher Bat-films. Love 'em all. Hadn't watched the two in the middle for quite some time.

The whole "is Zam a boy or a girl" quandary caused me a lot of grief on this board when I was a youngling.

 

Zam was definitely a female.

 

I didn't mean to create an uproar about that question. I just thought it was extremely cute. After I thought about it, though, it occurred to me that there are plenty of "shape shifting" characters in SciFi that don't have gender at all. The Founders in STS9 come to mind.

It is fun to (finally) get some interest from my youngest in what I geek out about all the time. When he yelled out (TPM, Droid Control Ship destruction) "All because of a child! Yaaayyy! Die!" I was totally losing it.

 

It was funny actually @DarthIshyZ. Dags had Zam as his Avatar. So I assumed he was a girl and said "buying a drink for lady Dags."

 

That's nothing! At work, we have a 14 month old linebacker who's just the cutest thing ever.

 

I hope Jake Lloyd is doing better. I think of that now whenever I see TPM.

Agreed. I really think they cheated him. I understand they needed someone taller and thinner, but, hell, if they can make John Rhys-Davies into a dwarf, they can make Jake Lloyd taller and thinner.

 

True. But they started filming in '98, and the technology used for LOTR was more advanced.
