Didn’t we already know that the next three episodes were Allegiance, One Giant Step Ahead, and Call of the Specter?

That would make the episode numbers incorrect for Jedi Night and DUME.

I don't understand. Are they two-parter episodes?

 

I would assume it's the same as it was in the first half of season 4, where it airs 2 at a time.

 

They should really give us a clip already.

 

Are we sure the Feb 24th date is fake news? Looks pretty real to me.

All of the major websites have picked it up. It's an older code but it checks out.

 

Ugh. I think it's extremely important to distinguish between incorrect or things you don't agree with as "fake news". Even for something inconsequential like a cartoon release date.

It totally kills all possibilities of skeptical inquiry.

It pushes people to choose a side in lieu of critical, independent evaluation.

It's lazy as **** and irresponsible even.

if it turns out that these outlets are reporting incorrect information as fact, which does happen these days with alarming frequency, then what is it? We've never had Rebels return after a break in February, let alone late February. We also had conflicting information reported awhile back that the next episode would be called "Allegiance" not "Jedi Night"

 

It depends on the source. And especially intent, which is hard to demonstrate.

They meant it as fact to deceive? Or that is what they discovered from their source(s)? How are people determining this?

How much is the reader making an interpretation in line with preconceived notions?

And so much more to consider before slapping a lazy, popular label on something.

I think a lot of people are just eager for some shred of Rebels news that they've immediately latched onto this one because it's plausible and comes from a fairly reliable source.

That said, late Feb does seem odd. The only possible thing I can think of is that they wanted to space the show out as much as possible to keep talk about the franchise going until the Solo promotional campaign really kicks into gear.

 

Remember that this is the end of (the Republic) Rebels. That may affect how they air the final set of episodes.

 

This was your perfect opportunity for a Walter 'not the issue' moment.

I'm waiting for new episodes of Ducktales while I wait for Rebels to return. Girl's gotta have her David Tennent/Doctor # 10 fix.

 

If these final episodes of Rebels show me Raddus and the Profundity, I'll die a happy man. Ditto if we see Ackbar and Home One.

I'd be very surprised if we didn't see Home One, after they made the model for last season.

 

I wish they would just tell us already. What is the harm in that?
