Hearing is on the 26th, and if you have "no idea" what is being discussed in the courtroom then you'd best find a new attorney, today.

 

I'd put money on him playing dumb to try and keep as much information from the press as possible.

Of course, but having worked around (but not actually *in*) the legal profession, I have a tendency to give a lot of folks the benefit of the doubt when it comes to making sense of legal proceedings without some assistance. But if you go on record as saying that you have no idea then you make you and your attorney look like fools - neither of which will help him and his case, even if he is completely innocent.

Edit: I always like the charge of "public mischief". I imagine exaggeratedly tip-toeing up behind an old lady, shouting BOO! before running away, hand over mouth to hide my giggles.

It's been almost a decade since I've posted on here. I come by a few times a month to check out the Lit boards, but, for some reason, I decided to glance into the JCC today, because, well, why not? I used to spend a ton of time here. Plus, I'm doing some solid procrastinating. So, I'm going through the pages absent-mindedly, and my eye is struck by this thread title.

A FREAKING HOUR LATER, I find myself knowing way too much about this couple.

I remember them both from my years here. Connemara more so. This entire story is just absolutely nutty. Every time it seemed like it could not get more surreal, it somehow did. Damn.
