I don't think it will make the Christmas 2019 target, since JJ has to rewrite the script etc, more likely 2020 or 2021 for this ...

Well, my kid (singular) is a month old tomorrow, so I'm afraid we don't quite know if he enjoys the character yet. Nonetheless, we'll likely check the movies out for ourselves regardless. My wife and I enjoy the books -- a lot of heart in them.

As far as I know 9 is still on track for its December 2019 release.

This is the house I grew up in its in Olney Maryland I found the pictures on Zillow the house was renovated and looks better then when I lived there but I planted all the trees in the back yard I am glad to see there still there! I now live in Punta Gorda Florida.

A few weeks ago I picked up The Best of the New Scooby-Doo Movies DVD set at Target. It doesn't contain all of the episodes, then I discovered I could record some of the non-set episodes from the Boomerang network. Last night, I watched the Tim Conway episode The Spirited Spooked Sports Show. Afterward, I spotted Mark Hamill listed in the credits. No character tied to his name. On IMDB, Mark is credited for only three episodes of The New Scooby-Doo Movies:
The Weird Winds on Winona (1973) -- Windwaker #2 (voice)
Mystery in Persia (1973) -- Corey Anders (voice)
Mystery on Haunted Island (1973) -- Announcer (credit only)
There's a handful of episodes that are not in the set, and apparently, Tim Conway is the reason his episode is not included in the set......expensive royalties. Nine episodes are not available digitally due to high royalties or permission issues.
I wonder if Mark was actually involved in this episode, or if it was merely a mistake in the credits.

Anyone catch the Oscars last night?

Kind of predictable winners, but nothing I can really disagree with except the Shape of Water (which I found dreadful and weird for the sake of being weird, which bothers me)...This seemed to be a kind of down year for award show types of films.
