I don't think it's okay to punch anyone in the face (unless it's in self defence). There's too much violence in the world already, we don't need to encourage more.

I’d say unless done in defense of yourself or someone else, resorting to violence usually just proves immaturity. Words are a much more civilized weapon, and more effective.

As I said, I think violence is justified in the defense of others. Using Hitler is a bad example. He literally killed millions of people.

 

Yes so the line you can cross is only when the fascist kills many. The fact that fascism as an ideology is a threat to liberal democracy, a very real threat, is not grounds in and of itself to fight it. Oh no. I'm trying to think of the historic example, it's right there on the tip of my tongue. Despicable ****ing cowards who avoided fighting fascists when it was clearly the morally right thing to do and basically just made stonking amounts of money from the way until they were attacked and had to intercede. They went to rewrite history in their public conscience to make them out to be heroes when they really weren't. Ugh it's bugging me that I can't remember the name of these cowards in the face of fascism. Really distinct flag too; thirteen stripes, 50 stars (now), white, red and blue.

Anyway, those cowards thought as you did and millions died whilst they sat on their hands.
