For TPM: Palpatine/Sidious for pulling the strings and driving the plot forward (his fake concern for the Queen's safety/scenes on Coruscant are great), Padme Amidala as the young, defiant leader who will not accept occupation, QGJ as the wise but rogue Jedi master acting on instinct, and Boss Nass (awesome voice work).

AOTC: Palpatine, Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan is great in every scene), Anakin for his tortured struggle, Count Dooku (Christopher Lee always adds to whatever film he's in), Yoda (the scene with the younglings, his immediate grasp that the Battle of Genonosis was no victory)

3. Darth Maul (Seeing him turn on not one, but TWO lightsaber blades for the first time was such a memorable moment for me as a kid. I'd never seen anything like that before.)
4. Captain Phasma (yes, I know she didn't have much time to do anything in the ST, but she more than makes up for it in her miniseries and the Phasma novel.)
5. Princess Leia (the original, the one and only, still a source of empowerment for women and girls TO THIS DAY. I love her so much)
