My name is Ben, I have been a Star Wars fan for most of my life, my favorite movie is "Revenge of the Sith" followed closely by The Empire Strikes Back.
I have watched the Clone Wars and all released Rebels episodes, and I have explored some of the EU.
Alongside Star Wars I have taken a great interest in many Science fiction/fantasy franchises, including Halo, Alien, and others.
I played (old) battlefront, the Jedi Academy games, and some swtor. (Not an MMO fan so it doesn't interest me all too much)

The Force Awakens was a good film but I felt like it was feeding off nostalgia too much.

Rogue One is my favorite new film so far, It fleshes out a lot of interesting topics, my only complaint is how they seemed to have hastily killed the characters to avoid confusion (i.e. did a Halo Reach), I think making two or three of them POWs would have been a better option.

As for The Last Jedi, I like the parralels, Del Toro's appearance was pretty rad, and Kylo Ren's character is turning into a very complete and interesting one, he isn't like most villians who almost play a role of a generic Space-Nazi, he seems more natural, insecure, for example, as soon as Rey doesn't want to join him he wants to shoot down her ship, it almost seems like he doesn't know what he wants, it makes me wonder if he will jump between the light and Dark side like Revan.
