I'm not that interested in Legion but a lot of people seem to be, given the interest on the FFG forums. I'll see if any commander minis get released that I'd like to get made up and painted, but that's it.

However, I know you guys love the art. :D

Never before has the fact that Luke honours his late aunt, Beru, by adopting her hairstyle in ROTJ been more apparent:

Didn't get a chance to play Armada this past weekend, but I'm visiting my brother & his wife in Sacramento this coming weekend, so I'll be getting the Profundity into action in a matter of days!

FFG just announced a new RPG book - another class book, not surprisingly. Knights of Fate is the book for the Warriors from F&D.

On a better note, the official word on Dawn of Rebellion is a release date of Feb 22nd.

The great T-65 fix is finally here! Servomotor S-Foils look to be a T-65(!) X-Wing-only modification that allows one to equip a second modification, so that the ship can still equip Integrated Astromech. This also keeps the Title slot on the X-Wing clear, in case they ever wanted to add a Rogue Squadron/Cavern Angels/whatever title.

Given than one of the cards that begins with "Serv" and has "S-Foils" looks to have different text and image, I'm assuming this will be a flippable card- foils open & foils shut - rather than a different modification from the other 3 identically-imaged cards.

Disappointed they went with someone as underwhelming as Ashoka on the cover. Given the warrior includes Starfighter Ace, they could've gone Luke (whom they inexplicably used for the Sentinels book).

I like Shii Cho Knight as a lightsaber specialist, but it will never take the place of Shien Expert in my heart.

I've preordered Dawn of Rebellion too. :D

Iron lord beat me to this but, also worth noting is there are twoversions of Servomotor S-foils 1 and another Servomotor S-foill with a boost action which seems to have only one copy. Both versions do Start with T-65. He may be right about it being flippable, but I don't know.

Also whatever the three "Ren.... R....." cards are also are T-65 X-wing only cards.

So the T-65 is getting a MAJOR buff here by the looks of things. May need to get two of these.

The Reaper is also interesting. Its clearly a large ship, but if you look at the base, its a small base, and the "Mult.... Camo...." Card is "small ship only".

I don't think that I've ever seen a "big" ship on a small base.

The K-Wing, the TIE Punisher, Kylo's TIE Silencer, and Nym's Scurgg bomber, are all somewhat big for their Small base. Possibly the ARC-160 as well.

The U-wing and IG-88's IG-2000 Aggressor are both undersized for their Large base.

Resulting in a certain amount of overlap.

True there have been larger small base ships as listed, bt they were still "bubble card" sized despite being bukier (also Starviper kinda).

But the Reaper looks to be comparable in size to the Outrider our Punishing One (based on an assumption that the box it is in is the standard sized one). Which would make it close to twice the size of even the K-wing or Sccurg.

Definitely a first for a box ship (other than a repack) to be a small base though.

Huh, noticed that one of the TIE Reaper pilots is named "Major Vermeil."

Wonder if that's supposed to be Major Vermel from the Hand of Thrawn duology and someone just misspelled it?

There's an open S-Foil card is second from the right in the top row, with the Scrambled card blocking the text. Then it's pivot wing, closed S-Foil, and two open S-Foils on the bottom row. S-Foil is definitely flippable, and one of those open S-Foils is supposed to be closed.

Ugh, I got beat in my first outing with an MC75! Not through any fault of the ship itself, but via a combination of poor movements and ridiculously bad dice rolling. As a result, I've fired myself as my own admiral. [face_laugh]

One thing I didn't notice originally was that the MC75 has nine hull points. The two MC80 cruiser classes are both 8 hull points, whereas an ISD is an 11 hull point ship. Having that extra hull point is super valuable. I'm very tempted to play both of my MC75's in a game, but I tend to favor a more balanced fleet typically.

If you're wondering what level my addiction to ship collecting is... latest fleet numbers below (not counting fighters):

    Rebel Fleet
    • x2 MC80 Home One
    • x2 MC80 Liberty
    • x2 MC75 Profundity
    • x2 Assault Frigate
    • x2 MC30c frigate
    • x2 Pelta-class frigate
    • x3 Nebulon-B frigate
    • x4 Corellian corvette
    • x4 Hammerhead corvette
    • x2 Medium transport
    Imperial Fleet
    • x1 ISD Chimaera
    • x2 ISD
    • x2 VSD
    • x1 Interdictor
    • x2 Gladiator-class
    • x1 Quasar Fire-class
    • x2 Arquitens-class
    • x2 Raider-class
    • x2 Assault transport
So... is there an AA for Armada addicts? Maybe AAA, Armada Addicts Anonymous? :_|

Interesting... some people already have the Dawn of Rebellion sourcebook and have detailed the contents. First off, it's definitely a throwback to the old WEG/WOTC sourcebooks based on novels/comics/movies - it's pretty much nothing but Rogue One and Rebels. Secondly, they've broken with their tradition and provided stats for major movie/TV characters, including Krennic, Lando, and Tarkin.
    Should be out this Thursday.

    Apparently has:

Maul, Grand Moff Tarkin, Shelish, Krennic, Saw Gerrera, Governor Price, Commandant Aresko, Ryder Azadi, Senator Trayvis, Grand Admiral Thrawn, Agent Kallus, Darth Vader, Grand Inquisitor, Bail Organa, Mon Mothma, Ahsoka Tano, Commander Jun Sato, Kanan, Hera (Ghost, Phantom I, Phantom II), Chopper, Zeb, Sabine, Captain Rex, Ezra, Cikatro Vizago, Cham Syndulla, Numa, Fenn Rau, Azmorigan, Hondo, Ketsu Onyo, Lando Calrissian.

Don't know why they wasted time with Tano though.

Does it have stats for the U-wing, some of the Rouge One aliens, Death Troopers, those definitely-not-darktrooper droids from Rebels, or K2SO (either him specifically, or Imperial Security Droids in general)?
