I think I got distracted by the Miners actually winning again this season. However, I think they are still holding down that third playoff spot. Both the Miners and Mets have two wins and by my count the Starkillers have three.

Great game! Looks like I picked the right time to grab a bonus roll.

 

This Balmorran flu is pretty nasty. I mean, it's super inconvenient for the Mercs ahead of a big game like this. No one would have planned this all along, now would they? It's not like...oh, I don't know...the team accidentally ate some bad fish that forced certain players into starting positions.

But no. No one would ever be so psychotic as to do that. I mean, that'd be a level of depravity never seen before in the ELL.

 

Funny that gets posted today, because today I came down with a cold.

 

My original inspiration was the nasty 24 hour virus my son brought home from school that made it's rounds through my home over the last couple of weeks.

 

I'm hoping this is just a 24-hour virus also. I have a report due in a week and a half that I didn't get the clearance from the professor to start on until today, and a calculus exam on Monday. I don't look forward to trying to handle either of those while sick.

And to keep this on-topic, maybe I'll have the same illness go through the Officers' locker room. Then Randy and Justin can complain about biological warfare in the league.

 

Hmmm...now who would be the most likely candidate for a biological warfare attack? To figure it out we'd need to play...

Wait a second--Ken buried the lead! PCNS jumped and UBTV fell! How was that not the lead blurb? It's almost like they care about games not played in the Bak10.

 

Oh yeah, looking at my rankings spreadsheet...forgot to mention that UBTV lost this week and PCNS took home a win.

Edit: And the Balmorra flu keeps spreading!

 

I think the League is now one Balmorran flu away from their goal weight.

 

No worries Tomas is married to an about to be doctor. She will create a vaccine before game's end.

 

The Sens will make sure there is plenty of Purell to go around.

 

The Smugglers live in filth so they already have a natural immunity to such trivial things like the flu....

 

Well in that case, Bakura will say, "Oh, the flu is affecting your respiration? We'll just give you a new set of lungs."

So the Officers are in? Man, I was not looking to see if anyone had clinched!

 

I have no idea, I just sort of make it up as I go along. A cursory look says they are in though.
