Saga Favorite Sound from the Saga?

What was your favorite sound to ever grace your ears in Star Wars? This excludes music.

For me, it was definitely the Sonic Charges from Attack of The Clones.

 

The sound of Sebulba's podracer is probably my favourite engine sound put to film.

I'm also quite fond of the 'whistling' engine sound of Zam's speeder during the chase.

My favorite might be the changing Battle droid voices throughout the PT and TV, so many variations from Grievous to Droidekas all done by Matt Wood

 

Seismic charges from AOTC are definitely top 3 for me. Padmé's blaster might be my favorite overall.

 

Lightsaber. If that sound effect had been lame, the universe would be a lesser place.

 

Tie Fighters flying. Awesome sound.

 

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Vader's breathing yet.

 

R2 re-activating the Hyperdrive.

 

I love the sound of the seismic charges but since that's already been said I love the noises of Astromechs, Ewoks and Jawas.

 

Same here. The ignition and the hum are simply great.

 

The whole soundscape of the dogfight over Geonosis is pure magic. The seismic charges, Slave I, the Jedi Interceptor, the crumbling rocks...

If I have to pick one from the entire Saga, though, it'll probably have to be the lightsaber sound(s).

 

Speaking of Geonosis, the Republic Gunships have a great sound too.

Another great sound is heard after Holdo’s Attack.

 

The rolling of a Droideka, followed by the unfurling, shield bubbling open, and the sound of the repeating blasters.

The sound of these is some perfect foley, giving a realism to such a unique design.

 

Seismic Charges sound amazing... I also like the mosquito crackling like sounds of the magna guard staffs... But the lightsaber light up sound always gets me best!

Used in, I believe, AOTC, ROTS, R1, ANH and ROTJ.

 

I could pick out any number of things from the king of sound design that is AOTC, but I'll go with Zam Wesell's speeder.
