Hey, i appreciate you contributing your sons opinion but for the sake of keeping this thread somewhat "credible" i'm just going to actual user's opinions. I dont want people adding on their best friends uncles son's nephews opinion!

    1) Yes, I enjoyed The Last Jedi, Episode VIII, since it is a Star Wars film. I enjoyed it regardless of fit with previous films. Some of the scenes dragged on towards the middle: a) the Rey-Kylo mind swap business and b) the Casino World Adventure where DJ was introduced.

    2) 40 years old, born in the great year of 1977

    3) Male

    4) North American Wolf and also Caucasian-Western European

    5) Some graduate work

    6) Los Angeles, California, United States

    7) Yes, I enjoyed all three Prequel films. They expanded the SW Universe. Where would we be if George Lucas did not plan the Prequels and allow collaboration/approvals with licensees and artists/writers

    8) A New Hope, Episode IV

    9) Least Favorite SW film for me is The Phantom Menace, Episode I. I prefer the version with Jar Jar Binks and Gun Guns edited out.

    Hey everyone, first time posting!

    1) Did you like TLJ? Yep! I loved it. Especially with how it was more character based and challenged our 4 new leads along with Luke's arc which I contend the way he behaves in this film is consistent with his character throughout the series but that's a discussion for a different forum. Overall I really dug how it explored the theme of failure, it was something different. However one complaint I have, which is something I had for TFA too, is that it had a bit too much of that modern day Marvel-esque humor in it that I think doesn't belong in a Star Wars films and find kind've jarring and out of place if you watch the original 6 then watch the ST but otherwise I adore this film.
    2) Age? 25
    3) Gender? Male
    4) Race? White
    5) Highest level of education? Went to community college, graduated with an Associate degree in Social Science
    6) Country/state? New Jersey, USA
    7) Did you enjoy the pre-quels? My introduction to the saga began with watching the 1995 VHS releases which for me are the apex but when the Prequels were released in that 99-05 time period I was at the exact age Lucas intended the trilogy for when he finally made them, so certainly nostalgia plays a huge factor. Ultimately, I understand and appreciate what the maker was intending, although it wasn't perfect I love all three with ROTS at one point being my absolute favorite of the original 6 film saga. In addition to how it expanded the lore, as a history nerd I loved the political aspect and the exploration of a democracy into a dictatorship, even if it could've been executed better possibly.
    8) Favorite star wars movie? (not including TLJ) The original Star Wars: A New Hope
    9) Least favorite Star Wars movie? (Not including TLJ) Toss up between Rogue One/TPM. R1 because I find the characters, aside from K2 and Chirrut, bland and not much personality. Really found the Erso family drama not compelling at all to the point it sort've drags the film down for me a bit along with the first act being a bit of a mess with it going all over the place. Of course that third act is what saves it for me, combined with all the little easter eggs, and tying the PT to the OT was great arguably better then Lucas did with all 3 prequels. Basically, majority of the remarkable aspects of the film for me were the references to the previous films compared to the new things which weren't too memorable. As for TPM, I like it but too much time is spent on Tatooine for my liking in addition to it being all over the place as far as focusing on a main protagonist. Watch the Plinkett review, I'd be repeating the points he made. I love Liam Neeson as QGJ but honestly that should've been OB1's role in the movie. Plus, aside from introducing Anakin & OB1 to each other and Palpatine becoming Chancellor the movie really isn't integral compared to the other films in the saga. I don't know, those are my complaints, but I honestly love all the films.
