Solo Solo, Toys and Collectibles

This image confuses me. Bottom shelf back row has old figures in new packaging. So TFA Luke is getting rereleased in the Solo line? Does that mean Snoke, C’ia, flametrooper are too? That means 9 figures in the Solo line aren’t from a Solo? What the heck?

 

Yeah it’s just a re-pack figure. Disappointing, I know.

Any particular reason why they put the Luke/wampa set in the TLJ theme package, and not the Solo packaging (like they're doing with some of the re-packs of certain figures)?

 

strange that they would show the 12" bonehead at uk toy fair but nit at ny toy fair...

 

I'm just looking forward to solo product being included in the Vintage Collection. We're getting bare minimum Rogue One stuff so far, and that's all I'm buying from TVC, so I'm glad to see something other than ST stuff thrown in there.

I can't find this photo I saw in Facebook (posted by a Spanish page dedicated to Hot Wheels) but the ones below are just two of the new Hot Wheels stuff that will be released in conjunction with the Solo movie... Including this Arrestor Cruiser which is supposedly the original Colin Cantwell design for the iconic Star Destroyer and the twin-wing Imperial Hauler that we saw escaping from this big nuclear explosion, in the trailer!

And there are some others missing, including the Millennium Falcon with the "emergency shuttle" that will join her pliers-nose together as well as this Landspeeder shown in a "car chase" in the beginning of the trailer...

It was supposed to be released in the Last Jedi line but the back-up of too many Rathtars (packed twice per case versus the probe droid) caused retailers to not order more of the assortment. It is expected that it will ship in the Solo box but that's not certain.

Wish they would have shown one of those Solo vintage figures on a card.

 

When can I pre-order items from the new Hasbro Vintage collection?

The very first image we have here (the one with jabba's palace) has what looks like a 3.75" scale model of Han's speeder. Have we seen it again since?

 

As well as Bonehead's air-speeder-bike.

 

Any word when Solo toys will be hitting stores?

Bottom right of this picture, next to Han's Landspeeder. It looks like they have mixed the figures around a bit but this vehicle appears to be one of those used in the heist sequence (where it and three others attach cables to the stolen train cargo). There is another of these air-speeder-bikes parked on the beach in the stand-off scene in the trailer.



Here's what I think is a parked speeder bike. That means the beach village is on the same planet as the train or the Pirates transport their air-speeder-bikes in a spaceship.


And here's a bit of an analysis of the Heist shot. It shows the cables hanging from the hauler (which Han releases with the overhead lever in the cockpit). The cables coming from the air-speeder-bikes still attached to the train cargo unit and what I think is the toy in the display above.

Wow, this is an amazing new collection to go for... And if things go according to plan, we should be getting these spacecraft models next month, during the Wookie Weekend promo events!
