I think I had nearly 40 tabs open once, working on a presentation for a public speaking course. That's about all my computer's RAM could handle.

I have 26 tabs open currently

Mostly because I forget things very easily so if I close something I probably will never remember to look that thing up again

 

I am about to test something.

I can get 60 tabs.

 

Lol, me too. 15, spread over a few windows. Stuff I want to read but not right now, youtube vids I want to see/didn't finish, & many crochet patterns. Making TFA Rey today.

@Jedi Knight Fett kudos to you. I try not to come here at work cause I'd be here all day.

 

I just usually comment and then do something at work and then I come back. My boss knows I come here and still thinks I am productive enough not to fire.

I get nervous if I have more than five tabs opened. My email is the only tab always opened, the rest is closed as soon as I finish.

Also, I work from home but I have no time whatsoever to come here as often as I used to.

 

Or having an ad randomly pop up in one tab and frantically trying to find out which one

 

Worst thing: Trying to slide a tab along the bar, accidentally going down and moving it to a new window, which also opens the tab next to it, possibly starting a youtube video.

Totally agree.

The light blue Levi's, flannel shirt and White Nike Sneakers are the fashion trademark of GL-

On computer I go to the homepage then to forums.. Gotta set a forums as favorite to skip homepage.. its annoying.

 

I just always google the forum.

oh I can't stop people posting words that aren't on the banned word list no matter how distressing they are to my scrupulosity/OCD, but it means an awful lot you care and would consider not using them so thank you

the words are religious in nature and are the enemies/enemy of Jesus Christ. In the instance of this thread it was the "D----- Anakin" conversation a few pages back.

My fear comes from the old adage "speak of the D________ and he shall appear" which triggers OCD responses which means a sometimes 5 minute ritual after seeing the word(s)

I am trying to find a word filter programme that can censor these words, but no luck so far.

 

Cool. I will make sure not to use that D word.

 

it's weird because I have countless of books on Theology, Angelology, Bible commentaries...so see these words a lot. No matter how hard I try and see these words it doesn't get easier. Although I use to not like to see the numbers three and four. But with CBT I can now.

Unrelated, but thinking about the announced Jon Favreau live-action series- doesn't sound like a bad idea, the guy previously voiced Pre Vizsla so he isn't an unknown commodity but what pisses me off is that the show will be available through Disney's exclusive streaming service.

Seriously where are all those morons who once called GL a greedy sell out?
