You wrote that at 9pm; while the "Farewell" episode was airing live?

 

I actually wrote the recaps for this and the finale over the weekend, then set them to go live on the site as the episodes ended on the East Coast.

 

Ahhh so you pre-screen the episodes in advance of the public airings.

 

I used to have screeners when I wrote for a website, and sometimes I was bursting to discuss stuff: not sure i'd have held it in, had I seen this finale. I'd have had to have locked myself in a garden shed until after airing.

 

I have often found it a little bit, shall we say, strange that a kids show makes seem not just ok but cool for a young teenager to kill people left and right by the dozen

 

Well what are they supposed to do?

 

I found that writing the recaps was a suitable outlet, but I've always been really excited to see the reactions to the big episodes. The reveal of Ahsoka in Season 1 (even though we all saw that coming), everything in Twilight of the Apprentice, the fight in Twin Suns and the finale are the ones that spring to mind!

However, since I hate being spoiled, I was never even mildly tempted to reveal anything ahead of time.

 

I like going to Youtube to see the reaction videos of special episodes.

 

Yeah, I was all thinking the betrayal didn't make sense. If Ryder really were out to save his own skin and thought victory wasn't possible, he wouldn't have stuck with the rebels for as long as he did.

 

He did doubt their chance of victory though.
