Books Star Wars: Last Shot by Daniel Jose Older (Out on Apr 17, 2018)

Well, there is Wordery - £14.

But I remain conflicted due to far less confidence in the post-Jedi era of SW.

 

Got my review copy yesterday and started reading. All I'll say so far is that Daniel Jose Older did something around page 55-60 that made me want to run around the house in absolute glee.

So is Kaasha the love of Lando's life that was described as such in the book edition?

I haven’t read any Star Wars books in a while (mainly because I have so much other reading material to get through), but the more I read about this one, the more I want to pick it up.

 

So far, this is my personal favorite NEU book. Older is a good choice for a Han book; he anchors it in real world language, sexuality, etc..

So excited!!! Can't wait to read it. I haven't really read a Star Wars novel since Phasma in September 2017. That means I haven't read Star Wars in 7 months!!! The horror

Wookieepedia added Condor Kyl and Sinjir Rath Velus (two of my favourite characters from Aftermath and the only reason I actually kept reading the books) to the list of appearances. What are they doing, tell me, TELL ME!

There's not much, but what there is happens to be wonderful.They got MARRIED!

 

*points to spoiler above* That’s the thing that made me run around the house with glee.

 

For some reason I had completely forgotten the release date was today. Really looking forward to this one.

Are they the sole happy couple in canon at this point?

 

In a manner of speaking Zare Leonis and Merei Spanjaf from Servants of the Empire were also happy since they escaped together with Zare's family to the Outer Rim at the end of the book series.

 

Here is my review of Last Shot ... Lando is so great in it!

Mine just came in. These look awesome: think Lando side is my favorite though. left it Han for now. Scared I’ll mess up the DJ haha.

Wonder why they changed the Star Wars logo on the spine? They did it like...

I think Tarkin might be the only other one that does the one line and I just figured that was bc of the spine size (280ish pages). Not that it matters. These DJs are on point.
