TV Discussion The Ahsoka Tano Mega Thread Power Hour

Ahsoka doesn't strike me as someone striving for a romantic relationship - no matter what her interests are. Our last image of her in Rebels is a solitary sage, so I doubt her personal life will be explored going forward. If anything, I'd imagine she may have had a couple close relationships during the "dark times", which she had to end because she was always on the move. Its equally possible that she wouldn't want to be too close to someone, putting them in unnecessary danger. That conflict could make for a compelling story if they revisit her past again, but I'm not anticipating anything at this point...

 

Between Lux, Nyx Okami (from the unreleased TCW arc), and Kaeden; she's certainly had her share of at least a "taste" of what it's like to at least have feelings for someone.

 

I'm sure someday or somehow she'll find someone xD

 

It's funny; I'm currently reading the Battlefront 2: Inferno Squad novel, which

features a character "The Mentor"; who all signs suggest is Lux Bonteri. He describes the events of Onderon (in particular Saw Gerrera's role along with Steela) in detail; but he has yet to mention anything about the Jedi assisting them.

 

Lux and Ahsoka need to meet again

 

You mean pre-OT era.

 

Yeah, or maybe even during her time like being away during the OT. Just have em meet again, it would be hugely emotional.

Well I'm not sure what Lux's fate will ultimately be considering his character appears in the OT era within a year or so of the destruction of Death Star I. Again, to this point he hasn't mentioned anything about being associated with the Jedi, much less name-dropping Ahsoka.

 

In regards to the Ahsoka novel, Ahsoka did not show interest at all in Kaeden Larte but Larte showed obvious interest in Ahsoka. Nothing came of it, but to me it was clear that Larte had feelings for Tano but Tano did not show any emotion one way or another, aside from surprise. This would not really lean toward Ahsoka being into Larte or showing any evidence she is into females from this or any story we know of so far.

Mature, elderly, Ashoka. Sure.

 

While I'd prefer that whatever Ahsoka does post-Rebels be released chronologically (still bummed about that 15-year timeskip and when will we get those lost TCW Ahsoka stories), I wouldn't mind if it finds some way to indicate that she's still alive in that timeframe. Just so that if and when she does get a more major role in a post-Rebels series, I don't have to go through thousands of new posts saying "Ahsoka has no chance of making it out of this series" or any more GIF's of a grinning Sidious labeled "Goooood." I've totally had enough of that ****.

Other than that, though, I'd prefer that the Quest for Ezra be told in its own space. 30 years is much too long a road-show.

that is Lux and later in the novel it is mentioned that he loved a Jedi

I knew it was Lux. I figured it was 50/50 that he'd eventually mention something about the Jedi. I just got past the emotional scene where Iden was forced to kill Seyn. You know it's a good book when you get somewhat attached to the characters and feel bad when they're killed off. She seemed like a sweet girl

I would be surprised if he did. He'd surely have nothing to gain by it. Come to think of it, I doubt she's been mentioned in any SW novel aside from her own.

Filoni really likes to monopolize her story development. Looking around at how some other legacy characters have been handled (looking at you, Rian and JJ), I really appreciate his wisdom in this.
