Good to hear that my general feelings of hatred and contempt for SyFy can live on into 2018.

 

I still love The Magicians so SyFy still gets my viewership but....damn these past two days.

 

That's a relief. It's one of my favorite shows; I really hated thinking it may not be around

I think it's a bit understandable from their point of view. From what I've read, Syfy only airs Expanse, it doesn't create it, and due to the deal it only gets revenue from live viewings of the show rather than recordings or streaming (or something to that effect) so they make very little from it. But also, Syfy cancelling it also doesn't mean the show is cancelled as they're not the ones actually making it.

Plus, Syfy has done some good stuff the last few years. It's not like a decade ago when they were explicitly moving away from space shows and emphasizing wrestling.

 

I need more money, time and better painting skills to justify my need to buy this.

 

Honestly, I actually concur with most of that analysis (I mean, it's not like I ever watched it live), but I've never really gotten over the wrestling and rebrand thing, so I like taking shots at them regardless.

 

Please tell me that the wrestling was science-fiction teemed

You can almost hear Hayden thinking "Please, someone, put me in a Star War...."

 

Thoughts on the prequels aside, Hayden was and is a real good looking dude.

Incidentally, I thought he had been in some well-received indies?

 

He had three or four very well-recieved roles... and the Star Wars prequels put an end to that track record.

 

I liked him in Shattered Glass and Factory Girl was a mess but I can't say he was the worst part of it. Jimmy Fallon was in it.

Well, it seems like The Expanse is indeed dead, but it will live on in a way, as the sets are apparently being sold to Star Trek: Discovery.

 

I was excited for Rogue Trader, for like 2 days, but now this stole all my hype.

 

Fully understandable.

But of the videos that they have posted I think this one was the funniest

Also I think @CooperTFN will like this one with all the new female models

 

I have no idea what I just watched.
