    Snap, crackle and pop are not the sounds coming from your bowl. They are the sounds you make while standing. Also, when you say, "At least now you know...and knowing is half the battle," waiting for someone to wink or say G.I. Joe and no one does. Or when you find yourself training someone for a job that you actually carried in your arms at the age of 0...yeesh!

    When you rotate your head, your neck is supposed to sound like popcorn, right?

    1998 was the year that Seinfeld ended, Metal Gear Solid was a hit game on the PS1 and Cowboy Bebop was one of the best new anime shows. 20 years ago!

    @Jedi Daniel

    Fun little story. Frank Sinatra died the same night as the Seinfeld finale. When he was rush to the hospital, the EMT's notice that they never seen the streets that empty before. Then it dawn on them that everyone was at home watching the Seinfeld finale.It truly was a different world back then. Something like that will never happen against thanks to technology.

    Ah summer of 1998. It was the summer of McGwire and Sammy going after the HR record (which turn out to be a total shame obviously and most people I think knew but didn't care about at that moment), asteroid films at the box office along with Saving Private Ryan and There's Something about Mary, the Bulls "Last Dance", Kerry Wood bursting on the scene, Austin Powers continuing to become a cult classic thanks to VHS (ouch) and I was young, slim and strong working as a summer camp counselor during summer break from college where there was 7 female camp counselors and one male...me. It was a very good summer. :D

    I also heard that the finale aired in Times Square which I didn't know. That certainly won't happen again for a TV show I'd say.

    It makes me feel old that In just 3 years no kids from grades K-12 will have been alive during 9-11 and I was only born in 99. :p

    When you have a conversation with a rookie fireman and catch yourself prefacing a conversation with "back in my day" and simultaneously realizing he wasn't even born yet when you went through rookie school.

    You do a double-take at the local convenience store with the big sign for alcohol that reads, "NO SALES TO ANYONE BORN AFTER 1997".

    Still a few years to go to be 40 from 1980; and I just turned 40 this past December.

    IfI stay at my current school that can happen to me. Some of my older colleagues taught two of the VPs, a few of [their] younger colleagues, and a student’s mother.

    What is bloody weird is because of how large the range is that a lot of things place “Millennials,” I am sometimes technically the same generation as my seniors even though I’m more than a decade older. That makes me feel eerie though, not old

    Here's a good one...

    I've begun to genuinely envy TV game show winners.

    It's kind of sad really. All your life you see those shows on TV and think to yourself "where do they find these people?" and "why is that person so excited to win some money?". And then you reach an age where suddenly you realize "Oh...that's why." [face_plain]
