@PCCViking, your new task is at hand.

You are to think of a campaign that would draw people to joining the Sith.

I assume like a political campaign?

In any case, I am intrigued by this latest task, master. *bows*

    RIP Vinnie Paul
He was an amazing drummer. I was lucky to have seen Pantera live two times. Incredible musicians. Will never forget the first time I heard this song on the radio.

We have been far too dormant lately. We need another death-defying, torturous, painful, agonizing tournament. I should like to be a spectator to the struggle for a change. [face_skull]

    My apologies Sithlings!

DRL is giving me quite the fight currently. As well I am engaged with two fine individuals within the Sith Empire @Kaleesh-Cyborg & @Dagobahsystem , whom are both performing exemplary in their respective Order trials. Along with such the second installment of the Tournament of Darkness is still in the planning phases.

On another note... Finally saw Solo, had a excellent escort. Must say it has been tough to digest. Not because I do not like it! Not at all, Just that, H.Ford and his portrayal of Han has always been my favorite character... non-Sith of course ;), and as such I am still trying to wrap my head around linking the characters to their new incarnations.

With that being said the new actor portrayals of Han and Lando were outstanding IMHO. Needless to say I will be first in line for the blu-ray. As it will make a fine addition to my collection.

When movies replace characters (Like Star Trek and Saavik), I really try to go with just the character. Unless the new portrayal really sucks (like Jodie Foster to Julianne Moore in Silence of the Lambs films). The directors do what they have to do. C'est la vie. I give a bit more latitude for prequels, too. The best of those was Star Wars, obviously, using the same Emperor as in RotJ. But, then they pooped the bed by replacing the hologram in ESB. Just my opinion and "Opinions are like farts, everyone has 'em and they all stink." So, take it for what you will.

The best new actor for an old role was Karl Urban as McCoy in the JJ Abrams-verse Star Trek movies.

Himmler. The RL villains are always more fascinating because they're always way more . But, that's probably not what you're asking.

There has to be an open minded and allow things to play out and be portrayed in a sense. The actor is only doing the best that he/she can do to draw on what is known and already established regarding the character while trying to maintain their own integrity as an actor/actress and be who they are.

I do think that it was a mistake in replacing the Emperor in ESB. It so unfamiliar to see the re-imaged version. As the garbled and less clear visage of the Emperor I thought felt more in line with the movie itself.
