I've read a few Biggles books. They were surprisingly good for what would now be classed as YA fiction, and more realistic than I expected. As for Sailor Malan, he was one of the top RAF aces of WW2. He knew whereof he wrote.

Here's another blast from the past: Dirty Deid, aka Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar, where I flew my first combat missions.

They stand about a meter and a half to just shy of two meters tall, depending if they are slouching or not. Wolatarian ships are designed for them to crawl into a piloting pod, where they rest leaning forward with the bulk of the lower body behind them. It's going to take some improvising to get them into the Y-Wing back seat.

Yes, they have hair all over their body...similarly to a Wookiee, except the hairs are stiffer..
