Something to keep in mind the next time we need new fighters:

 

I do miss the F-14. I know the 18 is the preferred Navy jet and soon to be 35 but come on the F-14 was something else as far as design goes. That super solid fuselage, landing carriage, payload, classic swept wing look, and the ability to fire and forget at targets way beyond visual range. For it's time, incredible.

 

I just find it amusing that it's an Air Force plane flying that squid fighter around.

And yeah, I miss the Tomcat too.

Yeah it has a good quote that probably will end up working for the Black Sheep very well,

 

Considering a good chunk of us lot are planning on disobeying the orders for this mission, perhaps it should be "but you know what a strong-willed person I am."

 

We should get a stealth fighter.
