Costumers and extras wanted for film shoot in Lansing Sept. 10th
|
Intrisic film is looking for costumers (mainly those you would see at a comic convention) and extras for a huge parking lot scene this Sunday, September 10th from around 2-8 pm. The film is called Unconventional. It's a wacky comedy that will debut at Motor City Comic Con in October.
The parking lot scene is the big finale of the movie. Imagine Stormtroopers vs. Ninjas with superheroes like Wolverine, Spiderman, Batman, along with a whole cast of costumers from Lord of the Rings in an epic battle. They already has around 100 people for this shot and are hoping for 200. According to the director Nathan Quinn, "This might be the biggest group scene in independent movie history for a film with a zero dollar budget." They have a camera crane all set for this and are looking at getting a bucket with a 60 foot ladder!
This will be a long day, but when it's all said and done- you'll be in main climatic scene of a hilarious movie!!!

The parking lot is at the corner of Farm Lane Rd and Mt Hope Rd in East Lansing. If you put Farm Lane Rd At Mt Hope Rd, East Lansing, MI 48823 in to yahoo maps, you can get directions.

I didn't see about it until after it was already done.
I would have loved to go to it.
I tried to view the trailer, but it's gone.
