Ok, so I lied. . .

My boss couldn't make it, after scoffing at me on friday saying "You won't need to call me of COURSE I'll remember!" . . . I called him a little after 8 when I was getting there to ask if he was on his way he answered. . .

" On my way to what?"

"Lazer tag."

"Oh You guys go have fun!"

:: face palm::

I gotta cut the guy some slack, he's got a newborn at home, . . . but then that was part of the reason he was sure he was coming (his wife thought it would be good for him and was all for it :: sighs, shurggs::




and now for an overall run down of the night
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

It was basically Matt and I , a group of my freinds (Kelly, Ian, Robin, and Zab and Davis joined us as we were getting out of the third set) and Mark and his freind Frank.

(for clarity's sake we were blue team)

It was Ian, and Kelly's first time playing, and I'm not all that experienced with it either, (My first time in an areana was well, last years' april meeting. . . :: looks back at the calendar, wow. . . a year ago this weekend!) We were talking about different strategies on the observation deck, and I decided I'd try going around the bottom level on the first round.

That didnt' work out that well, snipers from the top got me, but well Mark was getting them so that was kinda cool. There was another group of girls that were pretty much sitting in a gagle and asking to be tagged. . so needless to say, Red team one the first set.

The next set, Matt and Mark were like screw this, we are going to control the sniper position, and covered each other. I went ahead and went back on top this round and had a shoot out with two people where basically, my back was in a corner and I kept poping around and getting them. and well them me. . .
Blue team won!

The third set, we were up against . . what did Mark call it? a rugrat swarm? there were about 5 youngin's on the Red team. I went back up to the spot I was in the last game, it was earlily quiet after the initial, "Let's all march into the arena yellying marching chants", almost as if everyone was settling in to pounce, trenching in so to say.

Lets just say we controlled the top of the arena that game, with mark and matt and quite a few other blues behind me, I was able to take pot shots at these three reds about in the same spot those other two were the first game. It was going great until a kid decided to keep comming up behind me, every time I went to shoot wink but that's what it's about.

After laser tag we went out and hit applebee's for food/desert, and hung out there until about 12:30.
