I was nice seeing you yesterday at Watto's

I wanted to mention that we do not post or mention other clubs or peoples names on the boards, just as a heads up.
Otherwise post away in our favorite galaxy.
It was cool eating at Granby north yesterday too.

Hi I'm Shae-soon-to-be-Visas Marr. I'll be coming to the meeting 2/23! See you there.
I'm a big Star Wars fan. I write fanfic, written a few nonfiction essays about fanfic, and a perspective about the female characters in SW. I also teach mythology, and I love applying the mythos to SW and seeing the same spark in my students eyes similar to mine when I first saw ANH.
I'm an 80s girl (whoops I just revealed my age happy ), and ROTJ always takes me back to that summer...
AOTC was the clincher in making me a fan, wasn't much of one prior, and ROTS established me as bona fide fan.

Ed here. I found out about this group from Garrison Tyrannus of the 501st. I've bumped into Thumpy over there as he has helped me with some prep questions for armor that I'm putting together. Hope to get involved here and meet some people with similar interests.

Welcome ABC42! WendyNat has written some SW FanFiction, so you're definitely in good company! There will be a writers panel at Galacticon. In the line-up are Tony Ruggiero, Wendy, Pamela Kinney, & Cecelia Pretreto. Perhaps you can make it to that. It's on the March 22 and VA Beach Central Library. happy
