C4: Gentle Giant Exclusive Revealed

Starwars.com has just posted an update tonight showing fans what to expect from Gentle Giant this May at Celebration IV. It's Darth Malak from the 2003 video game, Knights of the Old Republic.
Question. Why Darth Malak? I'm puzzled by this, because you know nothing says 30th Anniversary of Star Wars: A New Hope like an expanded universe character from a 2003 video game.
Answer from me: Because EU is where it is at. It's not like we need another vader figure of any type.
