Hey, my name is Bobby. I'm 22 and I live in Green Run in VA Beach. I looked for a local FanForce chapter when I initially joined TF.N and couldn't find anything (I may have been looking in Southeast US rather than Northeast). How do I get involved?

Welcome!
My name is Alan. I live in the kempsville area of Va Beach. I'm one of the Web Admins for our FanForce website:

We got a meeting on July 14th at Mike Shipp's bike shop; just check out the Meetings Link for exact details. The HRR is a social club where we gather and talk about anything Star Wars ...or not. We play lots of video games, talk about the latest sci-fi movies, and just have fun and socialize. Drop by if you'd like.
Earlier in the day, some of us, who are in the 501st Costuming Group will be having an armor build party..same location at Mike Shipp's bike shop. Several people are putting together Stormtrooper and clone trooper armored costumes. Some of 501st club members from Richmond will be down here for that.
Later in the evening, we'll go out and get something to eat.
