As far as I know Fanboys is still set to open on January 18th; although I still have not seen any commercials, posters, trailers, etc.)
I know some of us are going to Marscon that weekend, but I'd like to see this as a group (whether we troop or not)
Let me know what everyone thinks and I'll shore up a time/place

At this time the theater has not received the film nor have they any notice that they will receive it by that date.
According to one website the opening does not have a date yet. I will follow up today and post any info I get.

I have contacted both the AMC at Lynnhaven and the Regal cinemas at Town Center and neither theater has it listed as a coming movie to the theater.
I checked several more sites and Fandango has it being released on Jan 18 so does wikipedia. This is alarming, if the theaters are not showing it coming to them yet, what's the odds that it'll be here in their hands by that date.
I will continue to "pound the pavement" for info and post as I get it.

I just checked RottenTomatoes.com, Fanboys is actually set for a WIDE release on January 18th, 2008...
We'll keep checking!

Still nothing on Fanboys...only thing I am seeing is that January 18, 2008 release date but nothing frrom anywhere to back that up.At this point I think we should assume it is NOT being released that day...and move on with our lives!

I just saw this - there was an interview Jan 6 that theforce.net reported on. Looks like a March or April release.
