Fantastic! Downey, G. Paltrow, & Jeff Bridges was awesome! Downey made the character believable! What more could you ask for! ILM FX was spectacular!!! I'd give it a perfect "10"! What a way to start the summer!

I agree! What a stellar cast!!! I think everyone knows I'm a HUGE fan of the Spider-man movies (escept the third one!), I thought Iron Man blew Spider-Man 2 away!! Second best comic book movie of all time (Baman Begins)

This same weekend in 2010, Iron Man Sequel to be followed by Thor in June
May 2011 - Captian America....which will be a lead-in for the July release of......
THE AVENGERS!!!!!
Starring....samuel L Jackson, Ed Norton and of course Robert Downey Jr..(and whoever they cast for Thor and Captian America)
Take that DC and Justice League!!!

The trick with this lot is the "Hulk" this summer needs to be just as good!
I know the composition of the "Avengers" rotated. Heard anything about Spiderman and Wolverine being in the mix?
Whatcha mean about DC? Batman Returns is gonna be kick-butt! Hope they create the Superfriends/Justice League!!

Spiderman and Wolverine are part of the avengers ensemble, but a later ensemble. Got this from Wikipedia:
New Avengers was launched in November 2004, written by Bendis and drawn by David Finch. With the Avengers team disbanded, and the Fantastic Four and the X-Men unable to act, supervillain Electro shut down the S.H.I.E.L.D Raft installation, a "maximum-maximum security" prison for super-powered criminals. S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Jessica Drew (Spider-Woman), Matt Murdock (Daredevil) and Luke Cage, already at the Raft, were joined by Captain America, Spider-Man and Iron Man, as well as helped by a seemingly insane Sentry. The riot was quelled, although some forty-two inmates escaped. Captain America decided that fate had brought this group together, just as it had the original Avengers. All but Daredevil accepted the offer to reform the Avengers as a result. X-Men member Wolverine joined the team following a trip to the Savage Land.
