Thursday night sounds good, though I'll probably be later than 6. I was wondering if giving it another week or more might give more people a chance to show up, but this week is still good for me.

We could make this a bi-weekly or monthly event. Every other Thursday, first Thursday of each month, that sort of thing.
I've posted this event to the local 501st boards and as a bulletin on MySpace, so we may have quite a gang show up.
I'll bring my clone trooper helmet to set on the table so we can find each other. I'm happy to give out my phone number, but don't want to post it- PM me if you would like to get my digits to help find us.

And right on cue I had family unexpectedly impose on me last night. Even missed the new episode of the Office which I'd planned to skip anyway for the gathering at the Pub. No Fan Force fun, no new episode of the Office, lose lose for me. How did it go? I'm lame.

Can we put a sign saying no lawyers with condos allowed. I do not have the space for armor. It might scratch my car.
People , You have to come to one of these to see what I am talking about. Fun night as always. I will be there next month, same bat time same bat booth. We can even talk about the DisAstros.

We missed you, Chuckles. It was a good time, and with the helmet on display we had a lot of people come by and join in the conversation... like lawyers with condos! lol
I vote that we do this on a semi-regular basis... whaddya say about the first Thursday in May, the 3rd? That if not sooner. Maybe with more advance notice more folks will show up.

I had a great time at our meeting, and look forward to our next one. I think early May is a good time frame, I might be 'fully operational' by that time. And perhaps we can get some more troops and Rebels to show up. C'mon, go ahead and let your Star Wars-ness flow freely and meet up with us! As of now, we have an IT manager, a store manager, a metal worker, and a water delivery guy, so as you can see we have a variety in our group and looking to add more to it.
For those that like to drink, we had a fairly steady flow of beer coming our way, and if not, they have some pretty good appetizers, and a fantastic waitress. We talked about SW, conventions, sci-fi, politics, sports, burlesque dancers, costume tips, collecting, family...we left no stone unturned. And nobody's feelings were hurt!
Enuff of my ranting, hope to see all in May!

I don't know exactly what happened, but I'm sure that lawyers with condos can always screw up a good time.
Sounds like it was great and I'll definetly be there in May. If anything we need a support group for Star Wars fans who are also suffering through the Astros season. Suffering through? 4 games in and I'm talking like this? Oy! Wait, that's a different thread. oops.

We would like to get a bigger booth or table if more will come. We have a good time and the beer and food is good. W e are thinking about a movie night for Transformers and other summer movies.

Spider-Man 3 opens Friday May 4th, we could make the meet up Thursday the 3rd. There's usually midnight screenings Thursday nights for these movies. Although after a couple beers I'd probably sleep through a midnight showing. This is good timing for a meeting though, either Thursday or Friday and either night there's an option for including a trip to the movies in the plans.
