Wow I'm now a hurricane vet. I hope everyone is ok.
No power here in Pasadena but I feel lucky. Kids slept through it.
Pretty scary and wierd at 4:30 am walking outside when we were in the eye.

I made it through the storm safe.
We didn't have no damage to the house but lost some trees/branches, power, etc.
We still don't have power, cable or phone (except my cell).

Glad to hear back from some people that they're OK. Jeff, did y'all have any flooding?
We made it through OK. No damage to the house, trees, or cars, but power is still out. My father-in-law flew in and took our 2 boys to New Orleans until the power comes back. From the latest Centerpoint announcement, it looks like we will be out of power beyond Monday >:(

Made it through OK, just some trees down in the yard. Spent Monday and Tuesday cleaning that up, now back at work and able to check online stuff since power is still out. Until MOnday or later, ick. I hope the cool weather holds until the power gets back on- that night after the storm was tough.

No flooding here. I'm in an odd part of Pasadena that seems to be pretty good.
I only lost half a shingle, but my neighbor lost dozens, and when we looked at the shingles closely we noticed that they didn't peel the plastic that allows the shingles to adhere together on the backside.

I got hit hard. Several holes in my roof and a top of a pine tree snapped and fell on the roof and destroyed my upstairs bathroom. I also have a hole over my living room. Lots of sheetrock damage. Still no power. Insurance is going to love me. Thank god for a computer at work.
