OK. I finally figured out how to subscribe to threads. This is a good idea for anyone who wants to stay in the loop but may not check the boards on a regular basis.

Setting up Your Notification Email

  1. On the top of the page, click on Options.


  2. Click on change your notification settings.


  3. In the Notify E-Mail 1 field, enter your main email address where you want to receive notifications.


  4. If you have another email where you want to get notifications, enter it in the Notify E-Mail 2 field (I didn't use this).


  5. For Private Message Notification, select "Yes" (not necessary, but I recommend it if you want to know when you have a PM).


  6. Click on Save. A confirmation email will be sent to the account you entered.


  7. Open your email and click on the confirmation link.


Subscribing to a Thread

  1. For any thread you want to subscribe to, click on the Notify link at the bottom left of the thread.

  2. Set the number of Expire Days. This is when your subscription will expire. The default is 14, which I think is way too short. I like to enter 365.

  3. Click on Submit.


That's it! You're all set!
