Another Huntsville Symphony Concert-some Star Wars

The HSO is going to be doing another Star Wars related concert in April. Thought I'd give the heads up now. I will be going.

Not really a chapter here far as I know. There's a AL SW club I think but I'm not a member.
Think there's only 1 or 2 people from HSV on here.

I should've thanked you for the heads up when I saw it last fall. It gave me something to suggest to my dad for a christmas present  .
I went to last night's concert and I loved it! There was a huge grin on my face during the Star Wars music, and I enjoyed the Holst and DeBussey as well. The conductor in the Vader Mask with the lighsaber was classic, and then when he put the helmet on the lead violinist and he tried to play his violin with the lightsaber was even more classic.
Parts of the Star Wars music put chills up my spine, especially the violin crescendo, with the build up in intensity in the opening and end titles. That was always my favorite phrases from those pieces.

I ended up not going.  How much SW music did they play and what tracks were they? Glad you enjoyed it. I didn't know there were many Jcers around Hsv.

Sorry you missed it.
Of the Star Wars music they played five different pieces, all OT music: Opening Title; Princess Leia's Theme; Imperial March; Yoda's Theme; and the End Title.
If HSO ever has another Star Wars concert I sure to go.
I'm mainly a lurker here on the boards, but I do live in H'ville.
