LucasArt anunció el día de hoy que ya hay fecha para el lanzamiento del video juego Star Wars The Force Unleashed (traducido al español de manera oficial como “Star Wars: El Poder de la Fuerza”), un juego que ha acaparado la atención de los fanáticos y del público en general por mostrar desarrollo de una tecnología de punta para este tipo de formato, además de una historia trepidante y atrayente para todos los que gustan de la saga galáctica creada por George Lucas.
La fecha estimada para el lanzamiento es: 16 de septiembre de 2008 para Estados Unidos, 17 de septiembre para Asia y Australia y 19 de septiembre para Europa.
Cabe recordar que el video juego recrea las situaciones acaecidas entre el Episodio III La Venganza de los Sith y el Episodio IV Una Nueva Esperanza, ampliando la visión de lo que conocemos sobre esos años perdidos y conociendo la manera en que el temido Darth Vader “limpió” la galaxia de los Jedi, sus deseos y decisiones que afectaron para siempre su destino.

El actor estadounidense Charlton Heston ha fallecido en su residencia de Beverley Hills, en Los Ángeles, a los 84 años. Heston padecía una enfermedad degenerativa –la misma que sufrió su amigo Ronald Reagan— desde 2002 y estaba retirado de la interpretación.

El 6 de abril de 1938 nació Billy Dee Williams, que interpretó a Lando Calrissian en El Imperio Contraataca y El Retorno del Jedi.
Williams ha realizado bastantes películas, sobre todo para televisión, pero tal vez la más famosa de ellas sea el primer Batman (1989) de Tim Burton.
En esta película interpretaba al fiscal del distrito Harvey Dent. Posteriormente, cuando el argumento de la serie exigía que Dent se convirtiese en el villano Two Face, Williams fue reemplazado por Tommy Lee Jones.
