ELECTION TIME - NEXT SUPREME CHANCELLOR

Ok folks, as mentioned before the xmas do was my last as president.
Tis time I stepped down and passed the torch to someone else. I've done it for 2 1/2 years now and i'm getting less and less time to be able to run the IEFF in the way it deserves, it's only fair that I step aside and let someone else "take the reins"(Christmas themed reference, gold star for me!)
It's been a great two and half years in which time we've gone from a tiny, tiny meeting at a Starbucks to a close nit gang of folks with a passion for all things fun in life!!! 
I'll still be around though as a regular member! 
The role requires:
- Regular Checking In on the Boards and Keeping up to date with the private CR forum
- Updating the myspace page as needed
Ø Chairs meetings
Ø Serves as liaison between members and officers
Ø Serves as liaison between the IEFF and Fan force
Ø Serves as a liaison between the IEFF and the Inland Empire Community
Ø Serves as a point of contact for local businesses and media
Ø Receives reports from other officers and offers direction
Ø Sets meeting agenda items with the help of other officers
Ø Helps organize events as needed
So cast yer nominations in here and then we'll sort the voting out if needed. Deadline for nominations will be Midnight on the 16th December.

Seeing as how you practically organize everything, anyway, I thought you should at least have the title and the big paycheck....uh, scratch that...well, you can have the title anyway!

And here's an event i got a message about that we've been invited too:
"My name is Allen Callaci. I work at the Paul Biane library located in Victoria Gardens. I am writing to see if your group would be interested in participating in a Star Wars day program the library is planning to hold on Saturday May 24th as part of our family Saturdays program. I know this is still a little ways down the line but I just wanted to give you as much notice as possible. I am open to any suggestions as to how your group would like to be involved. This could involve coming in costume, reading a Star Wars themed kids book etc...The age range for the event will be kids aged 6-12. Thanks in advance and looking forward to meeting you-Allen"
I have the number if someone wants to take this one and contact the library. It's a while away yet but sounds like a fun event.
